My name is Cynthia De La Luz (that is Cynthia of the light in English)
 I have a passion for Jesus, for my 2 kids Gael 11 years old & Greta & years old., for books, traveling, movies & Christmas.

Let's see, where to start, Oh yeah!: "My last name"! my last name is the thing that made me start this blog in the first place. You see, urban legend tells that nobody really knows where this last comes from. And this is where the real drama starts.

De La Luz is my father's last name, I kept it because it was easy for me instead of changing my social security number, license and all those boring official documentation when I got married, since my now ex husband was OK with that, I said well that's cool, I'm going to carry this mysterious last name of my Father's forever!

And that was maybe for now, the best decision that I made from back then, you see, my Father past away 4 years ago, and he was my best buddy, he was the best father that if God would have ask me if I had the chance to ask for a second father for me now in my 40's, I would simply say: Could you please send me my friend oh God?...please send the same, change nothing, he has your heart, why would I want to change that?

     One other thing about me, that is very important and maybe awkward at the same time, is that I have a passion for World War II books & movies, I wish I can tell you why I have this need to know more about it, or maybe everything about it, I guess part it is that I just simply get very emotional about the fact that all these people are respectfully the most resilient human beings in the world, the saw the most horrifying things no one would have to see not even as a bad joke, they decided to stay in this world with all those surviving memories and the forever grieving of their lost family members.

     It would be an honor if you can share any stories that you might have to share about it, maybe you have a family member that survived the Holocaust, or just like me, who fascinates from these incredible true life stories. 

 Oh yeah! I can't forget other thing that I enjoy about this life: "movies", they're an essential part of my Family weekly routine, and they were as well way before I had my children, I believe they're kind of the heat & taste similar to books.

 I'm naturally inclined to a romantic comedy, the last adventure or action blockbuster, love old classic movies, and anything old English genre like Pride & Prejudiced, but I find myself very immerse in futuristic/fantasy movies like The Lord of the Rings or Harry Potter, some Matrix, Ready Player One or The Fifth Element, I believe this is because I need some sort of fiction to so much reality, these movies make me smile, dream & wonder, and don't ever want to loose that child like feeling, I truly feel that when I feel this way, I feel closer to God.

      I think that birds communicate with me. I now believe this, it's been something that I fantasize with maybe since I was a little girl watching Cinderella or Sleeping Beauty talking and singing together with the birds, a happy moment every time! Love Each other.

Love each other.      Love each other is a phrase we hear all the time, Love each other as I loved you, John 15:12. Do we? Do we really love each other like Jesus loves us? And as you can see all over the news these days, the answer is: NO. As a matter of fact, we hate each other every single day, we have something that we don't like about each other, every single day; we don't like what the other person says about us, or says about someone else, and that's it, we burst away with our anger, we start a self inflicted emotional revolution that separates us from the single most meaningful daily purpose of loving each other like Jesus does.      This racism, is irrational, we give free rein to our most vicious thoughts, and thoughts travel so fast to our core, making its way all the way to our hearts, creating an emotion that didn't even exist there in there first place, we didn't even try to stop it to breath for five seconds, step away and let go of the forei...
